Wander With Us

April 6, 2017

TLC is proud to partner with Johnson Subaru of Cary as an opening day sponsor for the George and Julia Brumley Family Nature Preserve on Earth Day, April 22, 2017.

Johnson Subaru has made valuable contributions to TLC’s ability to open this public nature preserve by sponsoring a Trail Crew workday on the property where 75 volunteers gathered to build trails, construct railings on boardwalks, and remove invasive species AND as opening day sponsors. They will help celebrate with the public this amazing property that has 15 miles of multi-use trails to hike or bike, forests and meadows to explore, four ponds, and Stony Creek all in one place! At the grand opening on April 22nd there will be many fun family-friendly events and programming from guided hikes and off-road biking workshops to food trucks and local ice cream and beverages. TLC wishes to express its utmost appreciation to Johnson Subaru of Cary for their generosity and commitment in supporting our efforts to make the Triangle a vibrant and healthy place to work, play, and live!

Our friends from Johnson Subaru joined us out on the land in advance of the opening for a sneak peek at this beautiful property. Naturally, they brought a 2017 Subaru Forester. We had a big time. Enjoy these photos from our visit.
