Stream Restoration at Swift Creek Bluffs

Swift Creek Bluffs Nature Preserve offers unique experiences for visitors to connect with nature in a rapidly urbanizing environment. Over the past few years, Swift Creek Bluffs Preserve has experienced stream blockage from fallen trees, leading to altered stream flow and eroding streambank. Thanks to North Carolina’s Streamflow Rehabilitation Assistance Program, TLC will be conducting a restoration project to remove the blockages and restore the stream.
