Explore the wonders of our new Wake County preserve after dark!

As dusk falls, we’ll set out along the Lizard Trail at Old Creedmoor Nature Preserve to investigate the sights and sounds of the forest after sunset.  Participants will discover fun facts about our local nocturnal critters and explore how your senses adjust to navigating in the dark. Remember to bring your flashlights or headlamps, and a full bottle of water! Come prepared to walk around 1.5 miles over variable terrain. This is a free, family-friendly event, but preregistration is required.
