Join TLC for a dragonfly journey at Nature Storytime!
Learn about our flying, sparkling, ferocious friend, the dragonfly! This month’s story time will invite everyone to learn about the lifecycle and habitat of dragonflies with nature stories, nature games, and a short ramble down to the pond. Join us at Williamson Nature Preserve for this monthly story series where you can meet other families in your community and learn about nature. This month's stories are: Soar High, Dragonfly! by Sheri Mabry Bestor and Eliza and the Dragonfly by Susie Caldwell Rinehart. This program is designed for kids age 3-7 and their grownups. At our Williamson and Brumley South Nature Preserves, due to the multi-use trail systems, we close the trails to the public if there has been rain to try and prevent erosion and detrimental impact. Please note that this event falls under this category and will be cancelled if the trails are closed.
