Meet Your Plant Neighbors
Meet Your Plant Neighbors
July 18 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
Free
Join TLC for an exploration of Johnston Mill Nature Preserve!
What plants do we live amongst? What are their names? What are their stories? On this hike, we'll amble along Robin's, Bluebird, and Old Field Bluffs trails, identifying plants along the way. We'll meet native Piedmont trees, shrubs, and herbs in the mixed hardwood forest, at the edge of New Hope Creek, and along the sunny powerline easement.
This will be a 2-3 mile hike with a decent amount of topographical change. This is a free event, but preregistration is required.
