This brand new Schoolhouse of Wonder camp is an opportunity to learn about whittling for both new and experienced campers. We will practice safe knife handling and beginning whittling skills like flat-sided objects, gnomes, and snake sticks. We’ll also explore advanced techniques such as making a wooden spoon, whittling something with a moving piece, and making a bow-drill fire. Our week wouldn’t be complete without making some rustic furniture, building forts, and exploring the forest. Whether your child has already shown an interest in these skills or has never tried them before, this camp is perfect for any young outdoors person.
