Travel Journals returns this fall and is stopping at a TLC preserve! Join FRANK Gallery Artist Carroll Lassiter for an outdoor, plein air drawing class at Irvin Learning Farm. This property is closed to the public but houses a working farm, outdoor pre-school, and nature preserve. Plenty of unique sights to inspire a great work of art!
These outdoor sessions will investigate some tools for drawing in the landscape: Small quick sketches, or gesture drawing; Using a grid for framing and scaling drawings; Exploring the gray scale; A longer look for a more developed drawing. Materials provided. In case of inclement weather, classes will meet at FRANK Gallery.
