Join Tom Magnuson of the Trading Path Association on a hike of the Old Indian Trading Path. As you hike, learn of the Trading Path’s original purpose, the role it played in the development of colonial North Carolina and the founding of Stagville Plantation, and how it relates to present roadways. This program is FREE and open to the public. Please call 919.620.0120 to RSVP. Donations to TPA appreciated.

The hike begins near the slave cabins at Horton Grove, located at 5925 Jock Road (click here for a Google Map to Horton Grove). Hikers will walk through the town of Stagville and down to the Little River. Wear comfortable shoes and clothing! Visit www.tradingpath.org to learn more about the pathway and the association.
