Night Rides at Brumley Forest brought to you by TLC and TORC
The mountain biking community has brought great support and enthusiasm to Brumley Nature Preserve so TLC has partnered with Triangle Off Road Cyclists for a fun way to say thank you!
Join TORC for an all skills, no drop, night ride* at Brumley Forest Nature Preserve this fall.
Time:
Arrive by 5:45 pm to sign in and sign waiver
Ride from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Must exit the preserve by 8:30 pm.
Registration and Waivers:
Registration is requested here on the TLC site before the ride. Please also RSVP on the TORC MeetUp event calendar where you will find additional details about the ride and ride hosts. The TORC Waiver can be completed before the ride, TLC waivers will be provided on site. Please bring a completed copy with you to your first night ride at Brumley Forest.
Type of ride:
All skills, no drop ride; we will split into groups based on skill/fitness level as necessary. Speed ~5-10 mph and distance between ~6-18 miles depending on group.
What to Bring:
Mountain bike in good working order
Helmet required
Minimum 300 lumen light, recommend 2 lights
Water bottle/pack
Mini-tool, spare tube, and pump/CO2 recommended
*Brumley Forest closes at dusk. Night rides are special events organized and managed by TORC in partnership with TLC. Any night riding outside of scheduled TORC events is prohibited.
