Signs of Spring Family Hike

Hike It Baby would love to have you and your little ones join them on the first day of spring as they hike the Robin’s Trail at Johnston Mill Nature Preserve. Try to find as many signs of spring as you can as we hike through the forest. This is a woodland trail so little ones will have to be carried or able to hike (all or some) on their own. The trail is 2.4 miles out and back but they can revise as necessary depending on how everyone is doing. It is a fairly easy trail with some small elevation changes and it features some nice views of New Hope Creek along the way. They will meet at the parking lot off Turkey Farm Road at 3:30 p.m. and head out by 3:45 p.m.

Location: Johnston Mill Preserve, 6012 Turkey Farm Road, Chapel Hill, NC. (parking lot and trailhead are actually on the west of the road a little before the address provided if coming from Mt. Sinai)

Cost: Free. Almost all Hike it Baby hikes are free.
