DSC_0140Brumley Forest Nature Preserve will open to the public in Spring of 2017, but we need your help to get it ready! Trail Crew volunteers assist with stewardship of TLC properties approximately one Saturday per month throughout the year, this Brumley Forest work day will be the kick off for the fall season of Trail Crew.

On September 24th, volunteers will help prepare Brumley Forest Nature Preserve for its public opening in Spring! Tasks may include building trails, constructing railing on boardwalks, removing invasive species, etc. This workday is being supported by our friends at REI, Johnson Subaru, and TORCREI will be providing snacks, t-shirts and swag for participating volunteers and Subaru will be showing off one of their best outdoor adventure vehicles!

Volunteers should be six years of age of older and minors must be accompanied by an adult or guardian. Please register below so we have an approximate head count!

Care to carpool? Share a ride at this link with the lookup code “Brumley”.

This event has reached its capacity. Check back soon for the next Trail Crew date in October!
