Whether you are planning a backpacking trip, conditioning to bag some peaks or just want to get out and enjoy the beautiful the North Carolina landscapes, this outing is for you! Join our instructors on an informative hike to help develop your trail sense and increase your comfort while hiking. We’ll help you learn about hiking equipment, natural history, and hiking techniques that will help you succeed and add further enjoyment to your future trips. The hikes will range in difficulty from easy to moderate over distances of less than 5 miles. Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a participating parent or responsible adult.
