Mountain Biking Skills Clinic 2: Berm Turns

As Triangle Land Conservancy celebrates the opening of Brumley Forest Nature Preserve, you’re invited to join REI’s expert mountain biking instructors for a free 20-minute clinic on berm turns. Berm turns require different techniques than flat turns. We will develop skills, such as eye movement and body positioning, essential to flowing through berm turns. Participants can apply these skills on Brumley’s trails. braking, and learn to maximize your control on the trail. Topics covered include cockpit setup, body positioning, and braking techniques. Even experienced riders will benefit from refining this foundational skill. This clinic is free, but space is limited and registration is required.
