Come join us in learning mindfulness practices to reawaken inner steadiness, resilience, and joy in the beautiful setting of TLC’s Johnston Mill Preserve. All are welcome. Alternating periods of walking and standing with guidance from mindfulness teacher Barbara Shumannfang. Barbara Shumannfang, PhD (she/her) is certified to teach mindfulness by Jack Kornfield, Tara Brach and the Center for Greater Good at UC Berkeley. She is honored to share mindfulness and compassion practices, developed in South Asia and Southeast Asia beginning 2600 years ago, with anyone wishing to awaken their natural capacity for ease and steadiness in the midst of life.
For this event, we are capping the registration at 6 people (Ages 13 and up, please!). Bring a water bottle, good walking shoes, and a mask if you have not been vaccinated and we will see you there!
