Get Wild! Into the Water

Come explore the stream at Johnston Mill Nature Preserve. We’ll take nets and search for tadpoles, salamanders, and crayfish. If we’re lucky, we might find a turtle or large fish. Come prepared to get wet and dirty walking in the stream itself.

This program is open to families with children ages 5 and up. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Please wear closed-toed shoes (we recommend old sneakers or rain boots).
