What is your role at TLC? As part of the Philanthropy team, I am responsible for prospect research and development as well as implementing a moves management system to support donor cultivation and solicitation. I also work in our planned giving program to promote and educate our constituents about the power and potential of legacy gifts. I love the fact that I am able to help advance TLC’s mission by connecting us to the resources that are available in our community and the generous donors who make them possible.
Favorite TLC Preserve? I have yet to visit all of TLC’s preserves but so far Brumley is my favorite. I especially love the Healing Labyrinth. It is the perfect place to some quiet reflection on your way in or out of the preserve. My dog ET, on the other hand, finds great amusement and confusion as I walk the labyrinth with him.
Pallavi Sukhia joined TLC in August 2022 as the Philanthropy Manager. Her personal commitment to protecting the environment and the earth’s resources led her to seek this opportunity at TLC. With a master’s degree in English and over ten years of nonprofit development and communications under her belt, Pallavi hopes to use her skills and experience to help grow TLC’s funding opportunities and enable it to continue making green spaces open and accessible to all in the region.
