DESCRIPTION:Enjoy a morning of "Leaf Peeping" at Old Creedmoor Nature Preserve!\nWe'll explore the rolling and winding multi-use trails with the reds\, oranges\, and yellows of fall as our backdrop. Old Creedmoor Nature Preserve's hardwood forest will make this a spectacular hike to see the foliage!\n\nThis 3.1 mile hike includes some narrow\, rocky\, and rooted sections of trail and steep inclines. Hikers should expect to step off the trail to share space with mountain bikers. This is a free event but preregistration is required.\n\n\n\n\n\nInclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather\, you will be contacted by email for a call on cancellation or postponement.

DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our astronomical series: Friday Under the Stars!\nRaleigh Astronomy Club will be hosting a monthly night sky viewing session at one of our private sites that will only be open for this event. The old site for Three Bears Acres will be the perfect location for star viewing fun so bring a blanket or chair and we will see you there!\n\nBecause this is a private preserve\, we ask that you leave furry friends at home. The event address will also be sent in your confirmation email. We suggest that you bring a picnic blanket or chair to stargaze in\, a red flashlight\, and snacks and a water bottle. Please remember to pack anything that you bring in\, back out with you and we can’t wait to see you amongst the stars! This is a free event\, but space is limited and preregistration is required.
