This event is perfect for all ages and experience levels — whether you're a seasoned moth lover or just curious to learn more. Become a citizen scientist by bringing a camera or smartphone\, sign up for a free iNaturalist account\, and upload your nighttime discoveries. This event is free\, but preregistration is required.\n\n If registration is full\, please fill out the waitlist form here by July 16th at noon.

Learn about the forest ecology within the various habitats of Brumley that have made this preserve a popular spot for birders\, hikers\, bikers\, and naturalists! This is a free event\, but preregistration is required.\n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n \n\n\n\n \n\nInclement Weather Policy: In the event of inclement weather\, you will be contacted by email for a call on cancellation or postponement.\n\nCurrent Mask Policy: TLC seeks to build a supportive\, mask-friendly environment in all collaborations with staff and the public. Please wear a mask if you are not vaccinated\, or if that makes you feel most comfortable. We also encourage those eligible to be vaccinated to get their Covid-19 vaccine and booster shot. If you are experiencing any Covid-related symptoms\, please stay home and attend a program another day. Our top priority is to create a safe environment for our community. DESCRIPTION:Become a Forest Detective at our monthly Nature Storytime!\nEngage your sense of smell\, sight\, sound\, and wonder! This month’s story time will invite everyone to learn about the cycles and secrets of nature through nature stories\, nature games\, and a short ramble through the Williamson Nature Preserve trails. Join a TLC educator for this monthly story series where you can meet other families in your community and learn about nature. This month's nature stories are: "All Around Us" By Xelena Gomez and "Beneath" by Cori Doerrfeld. This program is designed for kids age 3-7 and their grownups. Please register all members of the family attending\, including children and adults:\n\n\n\nIf registration is full\, please email Meera Butalia at mbutalia@triangleland.org to be added to the waitlist.
