DESCRIPTION:Join TLC and Trail Mommas for a Pollinator Adventure!\nJoin us for a Take A Child Outside adventure along a portion of the Walnut Way Trail at Williamson Preserve as we discover the fascinating world of pollinators! Kids will explore the trail\, search for pollinators in action\, and learn about the important role these tiny creatures play in our ecosystems. We’ll wrap up our adventure with a fun STEAM-inspired take-home craft that brings the learning home. Come get outside\, get curious\, and discover the incredible world of pollinators! SUMMARY:Friday Under the Stars
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for our astronomical series: Friday Under the Stars!\nRaleigh Astronomy Club will be hosting a monthly night sky viewing session at one of our private sites that will only be open for this event. The old site for Three Bears Acres will be the perfect location for star viewing fun so bring a blanket or chair and we will see you there!\n\nBecause this is a private preserve\, we ask that you leave furry friends at home. The event address will also be sent in your confirmation email. We suggest that you bring a picnic blanket or chair to stargaze in\, a red flashlight\, and snacks and a water bottle. Please remember to pack anything that you bring in\, back out with you and we can’t wait to see you amongst the stars! This is a free event\, but space is limited and preregistration is required.\n\n\n\n\n\n \nIf registration is full\, please fill out the waitlist form here by October 1st at noon.
