SUMMARY:Dawn Chorus Hike
DESCRIPTION:Start the day with TLC and the birds of Williamson Preserve!\nCome join us for an early morning hike to listen to the dawn chorus — the burst of birdsong that happens right around sunrise.\n\nAs the sun rises\, we’ll move through the landscape\, pausing to listen to the layered calls of waking birds and notice the subtle changes that come with first light. We will stop at an open field to set up our chairs and take time to sit\, observe\, and journal\, using the morning as inspiration for reflection\, creativity\, or simple presence.\n\nThis will be a 1.5- 2-mile hike at a leisurely pace. Bring a folding chair you can carry\, a journal or something to write on\, and binoculars if you have them. This is a free event\, but preregistration is required.
