It’s finally here, Brumley Forest: The Beer! Through a partnership with Fullsteam Brewery, a taste of Triangle Land Conservancy’s newest nature preserve has been brewed and bottled and is ready to be released as part of Fullsteam’s Farm’s Edge series. Made with black walnuts and hickories foraged by volunteers and Fullsteam staff from Brumley Forest, the Baltic Porter that head brewer Brian Mandeville created maintains the taste of the deep woods that inspired its creation.
Join Fullsteam and TLC staff, friends, and supporters on January 29th for the official bottle release party! Learn about the labor of love behind the beer from the brewers themselves, and the history and plans for Brumley Forest from TLC’s conservation staff. Try Brumley Forest on tap then buy some bottles to take home or give to friends, and when you do $1 per bottle sold will be donated to Triangle Land Conservancy!
While supplies last, anyone who purchases two bottles of Brumley Forest at the release party will also receive a limited edition Farm’s Edge beer glass. Fullsteam’s Chef Kyle McKnight (formerly of Highland Avenue Restaurant in Hickory) will be on site with savory and sweet hand pies also made with black walnuts, get one for free with your purchase of a pint or bottle of Brumley Forest, the beer!
